மருத்துவமனைக்கு, வந்தவர்கள் உள்ளே குந்தவை அழுத சத்தம் கேட்டு மணி ஓ வென அழுதார்.

குந்தவை அங்கே வலியில் துடித்து கொ ண்டு இருந்தாள் பார்த்தவுட ன் கண்களில் கண்ணீர். டாக்டர் அ வனை யாரென கண்டு கொண்ட வர் சார் என்றார்.ஆதவ் கண்களா ல் வேண்டாம் என செய்கை காட்டி யவன். அவள் கரத்தை அழுத்தமா க பிடித்து க் கொண்டான். டாக்டர் குந்தவை கொஞ்ச ம் புஷ் பண்ணு ங்க, பாப்பா தல வெளிய தெரியுது என்றார்.குந்தவை என்னால முடி ய..ல டாக்டர். வலி தாங்கல அம்மா என்று அழுதாள்.டாக்டர், உங்களா ல முடியும் புஷ் பண்ணுங்க என் றார்.
குந்தவை மொத்த பலத்தையும் கூ ட்டியவள் அம்…மா என்ற அலறலு டன், குழந்தையை பெற்று விட்டு மயங்கி விட்டாள்.
பிள்ளை பிறந்து விட்டது ஆண் கு ழந்தை என்றதும், ஆதவ் குழந் தை நெற்றியில் முத்தமிட்டவன், மை லி ட்டில் சாம்ப் என்றவன் வெளியே வந்து விட்டான்.
மேகநாதன் எவ்வளவு சொல்லியும் ஹாஸ் பிடல் பில் மொத்தமும் ராம லிங்கம் தான் கட்டினார். மூன்று நாளும் ஆதவ் வந்து அவளை பா ர் க்கவில்லை. மயக்கம் தெளிந்த குந்தவை ஆதவை தேடினாள். ஆ னால் அவன் இல்லை. அவள் இரு ந்த மூன்று நாளும் போன் செய்து கூட பேசவில்லை அவளிடம், அவ ளை நிலையை நினைத்து கண் ணீர் வடித்தாள்.
