அவன் கண்களை அவனால் நம்ப முடிய வில்லை உடனே பிரதாப்புக் கு போன் செ ய்து உள்ளே வர சொ ன்னவன், பிரதாப் சார், அக்கா கை அசைஞ்சது நா..ன் அதை என் கை யில் உணர்ந்தேன் என்றான் குரல் தடுமாறி
பிரதாப் உடனடியாக வந்து அவ ளை பரி சோதித்தான். எந்த மாற்ற மும் இல்லை. பிரதாப், ஆதவ் கூல் உங்க கை நடுக்கம் தான் உங்களு க்கு அப்படி தெரிஞ்சிருக்கு, எந்த இம்ப்ரூவ் மட்டும் தெரியலையே எனக்கு என்றான் அவளை பார்த் தபடி,
ஆதவ் நோ டாக்டர் அக்கா கை அ சைச்சா ங்க நல்லா தெரியும் நான் இந்த விரலால உணர்ந்தேன் சார் என்றான் தன் கையைவிரல்களை காட்டி,
பிரதாப் அவன் சொன்னதை யோ சித்தவ ன் கடைசியாக என்ன பேசு ம் போது கை அசைஞ்சதுனு தெரி யுமா என கேட்டான்.
சரியா தெரியல டாக்டர் என்றவன் சிறிது யோசனைக்கு பிறகு, பிரதா ப்சார் எனக்கு கல்யாணம் ஆனதயு ம் குழந்தை பிறந்ததையும் கடைசி யா சொன்னேன் என்றான்.
பிரதாப் ஓ ரியலி திரும்ப பேசிப் பா ருங்க ஆதவ் மிரக்கல் நடந்தா சந் தோஷம்தான் என்றான்.
அவனுக்கும் அந்த ஆசை கடலள வு இருந்தது. ஆதவ் திரும்பி தன் அக்கா விடம் போய் அமர்ந்தான். அவள் கையை பிடித்தவன் அக்கா உனக்கு நான் கல்யாணம் பண்ண து சந்தோஷம் தானே என்றான்.
அவளிடம் அமைதி, ஆதவுக்கு நெ ஞ்சு வலித்தது. ( மனதில் அக்கா என்கிட்ட திரும்ப வந்து இருக்கா என வேண்டினான்)
பின் எனக்கு ஆண் குழந்தை பிற ந்திருக்கு என்றதும் அவள் உடலி ல் அசைவு.அக்கா அவன் உன்ன மாதிரியே இருந்தான். தெரியுமா? பயங்கர சுட்டி போல அக்கா, உனக் கு மருமகன் வந்துட்டான் என்றது ம் அவள் கண்களில் கண்ணீர்.
மானிட்டரில் நினைவு வந்ததற்கா ன அறி குறி சட்டென தோன்றியது அவ்வளவு தான் ஆதவ் சந்தோஷ த்தில் வானத்துக்கும் பூமிக்கும் குதி க்க ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டான்.
பிரதாப் சார், எ..ன் அக்..கா அக்கா வுக்கு நினைவு திரும்பிடுச்சு நான் சொன்னேன் ல,ஐ அம் சோ ஹாப்பி என் அக்கா எனக்கு திரும்ப கிடை ச்சிட்டா எனக்கு குதுக்களித் தான். பிரதாப்புக்கும் சந்தோஷம் வானில் பறந்தான் உடனே அவளுக்கு மேற் கொ ண்டு சிகிச்சை மேற்கொள்ள ப்பட்டது.
ஆனால் இந்த சந்தோஷத்திற்கு கா ரண மான இருவரையும் மறந்து போனான்.
வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்து விஷயத்தை சொல்லி விட்டான். கல்பனாவிற்கு ம் மேகநாதனுக்கும் சந்தோஷம் தா ங்க முடியவில்லை. உடனே மருத்து வமனைக்கு கிளம்பி இருந்தனர். மருத்துவமனை வந்த இருவரும் அவளை பார்த்தனர்.வந்தனா இன் னும் கண் விழிக்கவில்லை டிரீட் மென்ட் போய்க் கொண்டிருந்தது ஆதவ்வுக்கு சந்தோஷம் தாங்க மு டியவில்லை இரண்டு வாரத்திற்கு அவளுக்கு மருத்துவம் பார்க்கப்ப ட்டது.
சிறிது சிறிதாக உடல்நிலை தேறி வந்து கொண்டிருந்தாள் இரண்ட ரை வருடமாக படுத்த படுக்கையா க இருந்ததால் அவளால் உடனே எழுந்து அமர முடியவில்லை. அத ற்கான பயிற்சியை டாக்டர்கள் மே ற் கொண்டனர்.வந்தனா சட்டென எதுவும் செய்ய முடியாமல் இருந் தாள்
கல்பனாவின் கவனிப்பிலும் பிர தாப் மற்றும் ஆதவ் சிகிச்சையிலும் தேறி வந்தாள் வந்தனா
வந்தனா முதலில் கண்களை திறந் து தே டியது ஆதவைதான் அவன் வந்து பக்கத்தில் அமர்ந்ததும் கண் கலங்கி அவன் கையை பற்றி கொ ண்டாள். அவன் கண்களிலும் க ண்ணீர், அடுத்த ஒரு மாதத்தை உ டல் நிலை தேறி வீட்டிற்கு அழைத் துவரப்பட்டாள் வந்தனா.
அதே நேரம் அவளுக்கான அனை த்து சிகி ச்சையும் பிரதாப் தான் பார்த்துக் கொண்டான்.
இங்கே அவள் வீட்டிற்கு வந்த குந்த வை யார் என்ன கேட்டாலும் அ மைதியாக இருந்து கொண்டாள் பிள்ளை பிறந்து ஒரு மாதம் சென் றிருந்தது. மணி, என்ன குந்த வை இப்படியே இருந்தா என்ன அர்த்தம் நாங்களும் என்ன நடந்ததுனு ஒரு மாசமா கேட்டுட்டே இருக்கோம் நீ என்னனா வாய் திறந்து பேசாம அ மைதியா இருக்க, அப் படி என்ன தாண்டி நடந்தது.
நல்லா தான இருந்த நாங்க வந்து கேட்ட ப்ப கூட எதுவும் சொல்ல லையேடி நான் வேணா சம்பந்திகி ட்ட பேசி பார்க்கவா என்றார் ஆத ங்கமாய், குந்தவை அமைதியாக இருந்தாள் குழந்தையை மடியில் வைத்துக் கொண்டு,
அவள் என்ன சொல்லுவாள் அவ ள் மனம் ஏற்கனவே ரணப்பட்டிரு க்கிறது அல்லவா, அங்கிருந்த ஒ ன்றரை வருடமும் பெயிங் கெஸ்ட் ஆக இருந்தேன் என்று சொல்ல வா முடியும்,இல்லை மாமியார் மாம னார் நச்சரிப்பினால் தான் இந்த பி ள்ளை,அதுவும் செயற்கை முறை யில் பெற்றுக் கொண்டேன் என்று சொல்லவா முடியுமா?அவள் மனம் ஊமையாக அழுதது.தன்நெஞ்சை அழுந்த பற்றி கொண்டாள்.
